Say is that worry or is it just age
that borders curious forehead in despair
as you lean forward in efforts to gauge
when my lips act; captivate intent stare!
Speak words - comprehended employing sight,
move prudently - lest you forsake attention,
to mark the creases bulge in fond delight
and gladly spare genial intervention.

Thrives blessed man who draws not unique faiths
from mouths harbingering all distinct voice;
preferably choose face to animate
as he selected with quizzical poise -
fingers waved puzzled gestures 'round his ear,
I remained his unwilling volunteer.
